What percentage of the monthly sponsorship fee actually benefits my sponsor child?
Impact Ministries keeps its admin costs to 7%.

What specific things does the monthly sponsorship fee give to my sponsor child?
A nutritous meal every day (for some their only meal), a vitamin, schooling, a Christmas gift (usually a new pair of shoes), a birthday gift, and medical & dental care for the child and their family.

How long has Impact Ministries been running their sponsorship program?
Impact Ministries has been working in Tactic since 2000. We just celebrated our 10th anniversary the end of 2010.

How many Colegio De Vida schools and students do Impact Ministries fund?
As of the end of 2010, there are 6 schools in Tactic and surrounding area serving over 1,200 students.

Can I write to and/or visit my sponsored child?
Sponsors are encouraged to communicate to their sponsor child. As well, Impact has a special sponsor's trip in which you can travel down to Guatemala and personally visit your sponsor child.

Is there a period of time I am required to commit to sponsoring a child?
How long you choose to sponsor a child is up to you. However, you have the opportunity to change a child's life. You can sponsor the student through school and university if you wish. The cost per month will not change. We have many sponsors that have been faithful in supporting their child through their entire education.

Can I sponsor more than one child?
Absolutely!

Do I get to choose which child I sponsor?
Our staff know the personal history and needs of each child on our waiting list. They will choose who the best candidate is for you.
