Easter Service – 2016
“My heart is lifted and encouraged every time I think of the Easter sunrise service and the testimonies of new believers prior to being baptized. The redemption that comes from knowing Jesus’ resurrection power is at work in the lives of the Guatemala people. Each of our three Rio De Vida congregations are growing…..you can have a glimpse of all that is happening in the video below.
Thank you for standing with us in prayer!” ~ Les Peters, April 2016
Dilcia’s Story – 2015
We see these children every day, we see them everywhere! It can be overwhelming. A video story of Dilcia, one of our students, has been created to share a story of hope in a world of overwhelming difficulty.
The Lord said, “Let the children come….”
He is calling, because He wants to provide relief and freedom.
We are seeing it happen! Our former students are now carrying the Lord’s vision forward to the children. A generation of godly leaders are now taking their places in Guatemala.
Thank you for standing with us.

The Greenhouse was officially opened and dedicated to the Lord on September 30, 2013. Our most sincere gratitude to Casey Houweling from Houweling’s Tomatoes, KUBO Greenhouse Projects, and the many generous donors in the Impact Ministries family for making this possible.
This is just the beginning:The irrigation system supporting this project was installed in 2014 and we now have adequate water for irrigation and the entire Chisac property!!
The Impact Ministries Story
Join us of a tour of a home in Tactic to see the difference your support and the love of Jesus Christ is making in homes in Guatemala.
Thank you for standing with us.
Impact Ministries is working in and around the municipality of Tactic bringing help, and the hope of Jesus Christ, to the Q’eqchí and Poqomchí people groups of Guatemala. In the rural areas around Tactic, more than 80 percent of the adults are illiterate, leaving them disenfranchised and isolated and.The people of Tactic are very poor. The average man earns a wage of 40 Quetzals (approximately $5.00) for an 8-hour day of heavy farm labour, dairy work, or cutting and selling firewood. Many families have 5 to 7 children, 40% of them living in a home with only one parent. Many parents don’t understand the value of education and prefer to put their children to work, to help earn money to sustain the family. Often these children have never held a pencil or crayon in their hand.
Guatemala has seen a revival that has brought more than 35% of the people into evangelical Christianity. Tactic, on the other hand, has been dominated by local religions that combine Mayan traditions, witchcraft and some Roman Catholic traditions. This has resulted in an oppressive religious spirit that keeps the people in fear, bondage and ignorance. Impact Ministries is committed to loving, serving and discipling the people of Tactic.
