Support Julie and Julio
As a child Julio studied in Beersheba, Impact’s first school. In 2005 he began serving with Impact Ministries. Throughout the years he served as a teacher, vice principal, principal and as a part of the administrative team which supervises Impact’s Life Schools. At the end of 2014 he was asked to form part of the Guatemalan Ministerios Impacto Board, and in October 2015 he began serving administratively in the areas of short term mission teams and transportation. This change will include organization of the many teams that come down to Guatemala to serve with Impact, spending time hands on with these teams and overseeing the maintenance and day to day concerns of Impact’s 16 vehicles.
Julie was first introduced to Impact Ministries through a short term mission trip in 2005. In September 2007 she moved to Guatemala full-time, and apart from one year, has been serving with Impact ever since. Primarily her role in the ministry has been working as an administrative assistant to Field Director, Les Peters. This includes email drafting, calendar organizing and many projects aimed towards furthering transparency within the ministry. Since their first daughter was born in 2013 she has been balancing office work with everything else that family life with small children includes.
During this time, Julio and Julie met and got to know each other, and in December 2011 they were married. Together they head the leadership team of the Rio de Vida Purulha Church, directly serving and ministering to families and individuals. They also form part of the Orphanage Committee, which is the fulfillment of a long term childhood dream of Julie.
On the mission field and as believers in Christ, we have come to realize that we cannot do anything on our own. We are dependent on Christ and on His Body which is the Church, to continue the work he has called us to. The most important way you can help us is through your prayers. If you are interested in joining our prayer team, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Another very important way that you can help is through financial support. We are currently living on 59% of Impacts recommended stipend for missionary families. We would be so grateful if you would consider joining our financial partnership team, allowing us to make ends meet monthly, so that we can continue serving the Lord here in Guatemala.
