Current Missions Opportunities Impact Ministries has come to depend more and more on the provision of Him who created all things. As the ministry expands, needs are becoming evident in ways of staffing and buildings. In coming years, new schools and housing will be required. More and more invitations to do medical and dental clinics are being received from the surrounding communities. As the schools and sponsorship programs grow, we are asking the Lord to send the necessary resources and bring His workers to this harvest field.
Booking a Church/School/Medical GroupImpact Ministries has hosted a variety of teams that have been formed by churches, Christian schools, and other para-church ministries. When such a team is formed, the pastor or team leader works together with Impact Ministries to create and define a unique ministry agenda. In this way, the short-term mission will employ the specific giftings and interests of the team. If you are interested in developing your own team, please contact us. We are currently booking teams for 2012. You will also find team and leadership manuals and applications here. You can fill out an online application here. Expenses Teams typically come for about 10 to 15 days. The costs of each team will vary depending on the type of ministry option that is chosen. The size of the group, the amount of in-country travel, and the size of the construction or project chosen makes this difference. Impact Ministries customizes the short-term mission experience to facilitate the giftings and talents of the team members. We believe that God wants to use team members in their area of strength and ability. Our objective will be to give each person a quality, secure and value-laden short-term mission experience. Cost (usually $750-$900 CDN per person for 10-15 days) includes: in-country accommodations, transportation, food, translators, project supplies and ministry expenses. It does not include: airfare to Guatemala, airport fees/taxes, and medical/travel insurance. For more specifics direct your inquiries to the teams coordinator. |
