Short-Term Mission Teams
Through our Short-Term Mission Teams, you can make a Long-Term Impact!
What Will We Do?
In addition to a variety of cultural activities designed to further your understanding of God’s work in Guatemala, you will also work alongside the staff of Impact Ministries and participate in a variety of community outreach projects:
- children’s ministry
- construction projects
- evangelism outreach
- home visits
- devotionals and prayer ministry
Medical groups serve in our clinic and/or provide much needed health care in remote mountain villages. Other professionals may also have the opportunity to serve the community with their skills.
Impact Ministries has been hosting short-term mission teams from schools, churches and communities across Canada and the US since 2000. For more information, please contact us at email@example.com.
How can I go
You can form your own team, or join one of the Impact Ministries-organized teams. Already have a team? Apply today!
Short-term mission trips take place from January to October each year, and are generally 11 days long.
Form your own Team
Most of our teams are organized by schools, churches or special interest groups who want to serve together through Impact Ministries in Guatemala. If you’re interested in putting together a team, contact our teams coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org to start the conversation.
Medical and Dental professionals, please check out our Short-Term Medical Teams page for information on how to lead, schedule or join a medical team.
Sponsorship / Family Team
Each year, Impact Ministries coordinates a Sponsorship / Family Team. This team is open to anyone who supports a class or sponsors a child through Impact Ministries and would like to visit their child or class. It’s also ideal for any families who would like to participate together in a short-term mission trip to Guatemala. The 2018 Sponsorship / Family Team scheduled for August 7th-17th, 2018 is full, but contact email@example.com to express an interest in the 2019 team.
This trip is open to anyone who is over 55 but is young at heart and able to travel and get around on their own. Spouses, adult children, and friends who aren’t 55 yet are also welcome! Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to put your name on an interest list to be notified when the next seniors trip is being coordinated.
